Derek Macpherson

Chief Executive Officer & President

Derek Macpherson has over 10 years of experience in mining capital markets, holding positions at multiple boutique and bank-owned investment banks. He previously held senior roles in Investment Banking and Research at Red Cloud Securities. Before transitioning to capital markets, Derek worked as a metallurgist, gaining valuable technical expertise in mineral processing. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Olive Resource Capital (TSXV:OC) and a Director of Omai Gold Mines (TSXV:OMG).

Rob Johansing

Vice President of Exploration

With 45 years of experience in mining, mineral development, and exploration, Rob's career has been predominantly focused on low-sulfidation epithermal gold systems. From 1993 to 2002, He served as Project Manager and President of Kinross El Salvador, S.A. de C.V., overseeing significant initiatives in the region. Since 2002, Rob has worked as an exploration and mining consultant, collaborating with multiple companies to drive successful projects and advance mineral development efforts.

John McNeice

Chief Financial Officer

With 30 years of experience as a Professional Chartered Accountant, John has been instrumental in the financial leadership of various mining and resource companies. He was part of the team that founded Gold79 (formerly Aura Resources) and successfully brought it public in 2004. Currently, John serve's as the Chief Financial Officer for C3 Metals (TSXV:CCM) and Lahontan Gold Corp (TSXV:LG). As the former CFO of UR-Energy Inc. (2004-2007), He has played a pivotal role in its formation, initial public offering (IPO), and early capital raises, contributing to its foundational growth and success.

Amandip Singh

Vice President Corporate Development

Mr. Singh is a geologist and mining professional with over 15 years of experience in the mining industry, finance, and academia. As a finance professional, Mr. Singh was a sell-side mining analyst at a boutique mining-focused brokerage; his coverage ranged from developers to senior producers. He played a key role in Newmont’s US$311 million acquisition of GT Gold and, more recently, helped lead West Red Lake Gold Mines’ transformation, including the acquisition of the Madsen Mine. His background also includes senior roles at Outcrop Silver, Apollo Silver, and Magna Gold. Mr. Singh holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.

Anthony Paterson is an accomplished venture investor specializing in natural resources and biotech. He played a key role in the early structuring and financing of Prime Mining (TSX: PRYM), which recently sold for $450M CAD, and was instrumental in advancing West Point Gold (TSX-V: WPG) through critical growth stages. Anthony combines strategic vision with disciplined execution to deliver exceptional results.

Andrew Bowering

Independent Director

Andrew Bowering is a seasoned venture capitalist and businessman with over 35 years of experience building and managing both public and private enterprises. He has founded and led numerous companies through early-stage growth, achieving substantial market capitalization increases or strategic acquisitions. Over the past five years, he has successfully raised over $300 million in financing, with several ventures earning the prestigious TSX Venture 50 designation. Since 1989, all public companies he has created remain listed or have been acquired, demonstrating his consistent success in the capital markets. Four of these companies have advanced to senior exchanges, including the TSX, AMEX, NYSE, and Nasdaq, reflecting their growth and market recognition.

Brodie Sutherland

Independent Director

Brodie Sutherland is a mineral exploration geologist and junior mining executive with over 17 years of experience exploring mineral deposits across more than 20 countries. Specializing in economic geology, he focuses on advancing exploration projects from discovery through to feasibility. Brodie is a founding member of Tocvan Ventures Corp and currently serves as its President and CEO. His previous roles include Project Manager at HighGold Mining in Alaska (2018-2022) and NxGold Ltd. in Nunavut and Western Australia (2016-2018). Additionally, he worked as a global consultant and served as VP Exploration at Hunter Bay Minerals (2010-2012).

Conrad Nest

Independent Director

Conrad was lead counsel on San Cristobal Mining's acquisition of Minera San Cristobal from Sumitomo Corporation in 2023 and has over 25 years of experience advising local and international clients on a variety of matters related to cross-border mining and energy public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, venture capital financings, spin outs, initial public offerings, reverse take-overs, joint ventures, take-over bids, commercial agreements and ongoing corporate governance and securities law compliance. Prior to joining San Cristobal as VP Legal and a Director, Mr. Nest was a member of the mining, securities and M&A group at a large international law firm and co-head of the securities, mining and corporate finance group at a regional law firm. He is called to the bar in British Columbia and Washington State and obtained his LL.B. from the University of Victoria, British Columbia. Mr. Nest is a former editor of the University of Victoria law journal.
